Uniball Front Arm Conversion
BMW E82 / E90
A uniball conversion for the E82/E90 front arm, replacing the factory rubber bushing with a sealed spherical-bearing insert for a dramatically more direct steering feel.
The factory bushing in the E82/E90 front arm absorbs road noise, but it also absorbs steering input — every bit of bushing compliance is deflection the driver doesn't feel until the car has already turned in. This conversion replaces that bushing with a solid link instead.
The factory arm was 3D scanned to capture the bushing bore precisely, then a custom insert was engineered around an Opel spherical joint to press into that same bore. The joint is sealed against road dust and grit the same way the adjustable arm program is, so the upgrade in steering directness doesn't come at the cost of service life.
Highlights
- 3D scan of the factory bushing bore used to engineer a precise press-fit insert
- Opel spherical joint sourced for low cost and easy replacement
- Sealed against road dust for daily-driver durability, not just track use

Double-Wishbone Front Suspension Conversion
A ground-up double-wishbone front conversion built to run 300mm-wide slicks, engineered through full kinematic and tire-model simulation rather than trial and error.

Rear Pushrod Damper Conversion
A rear pushrod damper installation giving 150mm of wheel travel, so the suspension can absorb real-world bumps while still handling heavy downforce without bottoming out.

Adjustable Rear Coilover Top Mount
A rear top mount engineered to accept adjustable coilover dampers like HSD, built around a Motorsport Grande uniball in a machined aluminum housing.
